International dispute resolution funder Vannin Capital PCC ("Vannin") today announced the appointment of Howard Sharp QC to its board as a Non-Executive director.

Howard Sharp QC was Her Majesty's Solicitor General for Jersey from March 2010 to July 2015 and is the founder of Ardent Chambers in Jersey.

With a practice that extends to advising on commercial, trust, civil, international fraud, bribery and corruption, public law and more, Mr Sharp QC, brings extensive legal experience to the Vannin board. His Chambers has successfully advised on numerous multimillion pound claims for international clients and he has particular experience in asset-tracing and enforcement.

He has appeared at the Privy Council, is listed in Who's Who and has spoken at both the World Bank in Washington, D.C and the United Nations in Vienna.

This appointment follows the announcement by Vannin Capital in June 2016, that backing from Fortress Investment Group LLC had increased the funder's capital to $500 million and announcements earlier in 2016 detailing the expansion of its team in both Washington, DC and Australia.
