Philippa is a solicitor entitled to practice in all Australian jurisdictions (Commonwealth, State and Territory). Before joining Vannin, Philippa was a Partner in the dispute resolution team of leading global law firm Baker & McKenzie and head of the firm's Asia Pacific Risk and Crisis Management Practice Group.

Philippa has extensive experience in corporate and commercial disputes in Australia and internationally. During her career at Baker & McKenzie, Philippa was involved in Victoria's landmark Cranbourne gas leak class action, managed one of Queensland's largest and longest running construction cases, acted for two manufacturers in the most comprehensive Coronial Inquests conducted in Australia in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania involving product liability questions arising from the use of vehicles on farms and, she has advised and assisted clients in major fraud investigations and recovery actions.

Philippa has managed and advised on all types of dispute resolution including investigations, negotiation, mediation, expert determination, litigation (including class actions) and arbitration.

Philippa holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Law from the University of Melbourne, is a Certified Practicing Risk Associate with the Risk Management Institution of Australasia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
