Rosie is a solicitor of the Courts of England and Wales. Before joining Vannin, Rosemary was a Senior Associate in the Litigation department at Allen & Overy LLP in London, where she trained and qualified. While at Allen & Overy, Rosemary spent time on secondment at the Court of Appeal as Judicial Assistant to Lord Justice Dyson (now Lord Dyson) and at TUI Travel Plc.

She has experience in a wide range of corporate and financial disputes both in England and internationally, acting for large corporations, banks and other financial institutions. She has extensive experience in managing complex cross jurisdictional disputes and advising clients in relation to the range of issues that arise in connection with them including jurisdiction challenges, questions of governing law, disclosure and costs. Rosemary has particular expertise in disputes involving breaches of competition law, acting for clients both as claimant and defendant.

Rosie has written articles and given presentations on a wide range of subjects with particular focus on litigation arising from breaches of competition and contract law and was involved in Allen & Overy’s submissions in respect of various consultations including the Jackson Review on costs, the European Commission’s Green and White Papers about Private Damages Actions in competition law and the European Commission’s consultation about collective actions.

In 2017, Rosie was elected Executive Committee Member of the Russian and CIS Arbitration Network (RCAN).
