Most of you that know me from here and the chat room know i am a big Chevy fan.My first van was a Ford of all things.
I bought this Ford in the fall of 78.made my first Truck In in 79
the former owner had a nice start to the van and i added my own personal touches to it.It was a rebuilt 289 with a 3 speed(back wards) floor shifter.

An air brush artist by the name of Vic Curry did the art work on the back doors.

My next van was my 1st Early Chevy. This van I boughtt for 800.00 and completly rebuilt the whole van and had it painted.Rebuilt the six and installed a later modle sycronised 3on the tree tranny in it.

I got tired of driving a pick up back and forth to work so I bought a 77 Chevy Van for a daily driver.Which got totalled in front of the bar we held our van club meetings at.A couple of weeks after the accident I bought my first band new van. Here is a picture of it leading a convoy of fellow vanners out of "Van stomp" in 86

I thought it was cool that it still had the temporay tags on it an I already had a brand new set of Cragers all the way around it

The next summer I got the "Right" tire and wheel combo on it

Being a daily driver I had her set up with a set of truck rallies for the winter

..............Wookee

.

That was Pat Mc Phails "Beach Crusier".Nate knows Pat.I am pretty sure Pat still has the Crusier along with a few other vans.
3 of the nine vans in that picture are still around.Resting comfortably in a garage.......

Yep I know Pat. I bought my '77 Dodge from him. I believe he still does have that van (a '71 Dodge) but I think it's in pretty sad shape now. He has a Chevy "show van" down at his garage...don't know the name of it, but it's a black shorty with gull wing doors and some crazy bodywork.

Late starter here. In 2000 I bought my first, a 1990 Plymouth Voyager. Then in 2003 bought a 1995 Voyager (current winterbeater), and in 2004 I got my '91 Voyager (now a trailer) and a 2000 Caravan. The ex-wife took the 2000 Caravan, when she left, April of this year. Thats when I replaced her with my '91 RAMVAN, and just recently got a '92 Voyager parts van for $50. So that works out to 6 vans in 6 years, with 4 siitnig in my driveway still.
