Had an old fashioned Roof Raising Party..... Vanner style on Saturday! Worked on the prepping of the van roof Friday night and finished up installing the roof ribs and did some more welding/grinding around the van roof. Then on Saturday did some prep work on the vista roof, moved Luke's van outside and cleaned up the garage and the van a bit to make it safe for everyone to move around. Wasn't sure I would be ready so sent some texts out on Saturday morning, and the guys came through. I want to thank everyone again, that stopped by to lend a hand, and also to Generation Next for helping celebrate this next milestone in the build. They showed up about 2 minutes after we were done  So, here are some pics for your enjoyment. Interior crew....  Exterior crew!  They didn't lift with their legs. Guess they all have good backs   The Hand Off   A little aligning....    A Munz head...   Twisted and his dad Tom...    A little persuading on one corner....   And its on....  The installation crew left to right,  Twisted (Mike), Tom, C1Run1 (Joe), Galaxy Cruizer (Charlie), Lil-Beast (Kyra), Yours Truly, and Munz!     I think it was Joe who said it first..... Beer-Thirty.... The Celebration....     Somebody didn't last long....  Hanging in the garage...  Amazing how vanner girls will actually sit on the floor of a garage and hang out. They are the BEST....   Shot some pictures of the van yesterday morning before coming to work, yeah I had to work yesterday, to get a better view of what the van looks like.....       A little message left behind by Kyra......  Thanks Keeee! It needs a little tweaking and then welding, but it's nice to see it on top of the van!
