Because of where I have to work to get this tranny out I need to know where all the bolts/nuts are bolting to the motor and the dust shield. I think I have most out but I have to feal for them.

My problem is this van sets on ground. No rear-end or front end. I have it up high enough that I can reach under to pull bolts. I have to feal for most.Top one were no problem. I got the linkage brackets off, Rear mount is off.Just trying to figure bottom bolts. only dust cover bolt I have found is in-between the motor and tranny. the bolt behnde the starter and behind oil filter I'll find tomorrow.

If you can't get the van off the ground then there is absolutely no way you are getting the transmission out of there. You need at least 2.5 feet of clearance between the ground and the bottom of the rocker to drag a 904 or 727 transmission out from under a B-van.

While I don't like Harbor Freight, I strongly recommend that transmission jack or a similar product. I bought one of those years ago and it has been a lifesaver. I have used it to swap transmissions about a dozen times on different vehicles (mostly my brother's 83 Dodge van) and it has been wonderful. Way better than trying to balance a tranny on a regular floor jack head.

I made a adapter for my floor jack for transmissions years ago.
Tranny is out of the 96.

Thank you heave the bolts behind the filter and starter were the ones I didn't find, even tho I had pulled the starter already.
I will start the change tomorrow. If it all goes rite I'll finish tomorrow.

Hope that tranny works in your 90. I'm pretty sure beginning in 96 they were electronically controlled, but I could be mistaken.
