Good deal! 32RH is basically an A904 (no overdrive).

The only thing extra I have to do is change the yoke on the Rear end.
The 32RH has a longer tail shaft so I have to use the shorter drive shaft which has bigger U joints.

I'm paying $7.11 a quart, That's high enough.

That's total BS!

At 28.9" diameter, I'm not sure if my present tires (235/75 15's) are any taller or shorter than the stock H-70-15's, but I pulled my 727 with the van parked on a flat concrete driveway and slid it out right under the passenger-side rocker and never lifted any part of the body during removal or installation.

ATF +4 is expensive, but it's what's required. It is synthetic by the way.

Really? I assume you didn't have it strapped to a transmission jack or anything. All I can tell you is that every time I have swapped a transmission in a van, I have had to jack up at least the passenger side to get clearance to get the transmission out. Granted, the last few have all been slant six transmissions so the bellhousing is a different shape, so maybe that is the difference. Guess I was wrong then.

I dont think you should just call it out as BS....Reed was trying to help and there is no need for that. We all do things a little different, and if YOU can get a tranny out without lifting the van, then so be it....I pulled mine out and had to lift it way up....727 trans...we all do it different. But to call someone out as BSing is rude.

Thanks for having my back, but I would rather be called on giving bad information than have people rely on the bad information I gave and have a problem. I don't think VanDude was trying to be rude, I have met him in person several times and he is a nice guy. I think his statement that my claim was BS was just a way of saying he disagrees with me, which is fine.

Like you say, there are lots of ways to pull a tranny. The way i do it might require more clearance than the way someone else does it. Plus, there are enough diferences in even B series dodge vans to make diferent removal methods necesary. Tire size, suspension rating, type of transmission, whether or not the side doors are barn or slider, etc... all will effect ground clearance and what is necessary to pull the transmission.
