I have an '86 G10. The engine has been pulled and the wiring harness is damaged. It looks like some of the wires are ripped out completely. Is there an aftermarket harness out there or should I try to repair what is there? I plan on installing a 350 carbed engine with an automatic transmission(it originally had a 4.3 V6).

well, there are places that will build you a new fatory harness as long as you have the old one(all the pieces anyway) that they can use as a model. I would check out the parts yards and try and find a factory harness on a scrap yard van....I would think maybe 86's are still out there.....I would think that would be your best bet. I doubt if there are aftermarket replacement harness but would not hurt to do a search on the net........
