Okay, I have a problem with the seat height in my Astro. It is too high !

I am a tall & big boy at 6'2" tall, with shorter legs for my height at 32 inseam, as you can guess, that makes me long trunked. When I am driving, if I stop at a red light, and am first in line, I can not see the stop light.

Anyway, I am looking for a way to lower my front two seats about 3 or 4 inches total height, maybe a lower stock base from a different van, or maybe have a new box/base made for it. . . . Any ideas or suggestions for me on doing this?

Stock base is 7" tall at the front edge, 6" at the rear edge. I am thinking a 4" front and 3" rear box or maybe a 4" swivel base. . . ?

Also, this does not have to be a swivel base, actually prefer it to not be.

Eh, just lower the floor....lol. I dont know man lower bases sound like the ticket.

Just messing with ya .... i checked the web and cant find a law against short seats....they just keep referring to you being 1-2" above the steering wheel....

Nail a kids car seat to the floor....
