Because the hi-top basically mounts flush in the rain gutters, water is no longer routed away from the doors via the gutter. It just flows up and over and right into the doors.
The cargo door gaskets on my 94 are in great shape, but after a hard rain the carpet is wet in the back corners.

i use to have a similar problem. the gaskets for the rear break and side marker light housings were letting water through. took them out and sealed them up with black gasket maker. no more water. i made access panels to replace the bulbs from inside.

I have the same problem. The volume of water off the high top in INCREDIBLE, even in light rain. The gutters on the G20 empty at the corners and they gush when its raining heavy.

No way for water to get to the interior that I can see.

Well I think I fixed it, I cleaned the gaskets as they were sticking to the door panels thus blocking the drainage holes on the bottom of the door.
