Thanks Ed. These will be great for Kurk's goody bags. Can't wait to go and to see all the vans there. Also can't wait to see your van as well. Been watching the transformation on Facebook. Looks awesome.

hi, all i know that there are 25 slots for vans and they are all booked. I know of one van that is heading to the fun field. Most of the time i just show in the judge field but this year will be parked outside of the building. Just because i am also a vendor at the event and need the van to sleep in. Are you coming down to show or visit. Looking forward to the event.

Carlisle has been the largest custom truck show in the U.S for many years now, but we've only had a handful of custom vans show up there usually non vanners. So to arrange to have 30+ vans to show up is a very big deal. Sure Kurt gets some good publicity for his shop Customvan.com but the benefits to vanning could also be substantial. Every custom truck related magazine will be there. We haven't had this kind of exposure to the magazines since we did the CofC in their backyard in Feb 2011. We'll try to coerce Glenn from DropJaw to setup some photo ops with some potential DropJaw Cuties and wicked custom vans to help stir up some interest. I'm planning on being there early afternoon Saturday and all day Sunday.

I should hopefully be rolling in around 10 on Thursday for setting up if not before. Trying to get things around for our display. Want he to look as good as she did at Motorama if not better. We will be there until Sunday as well naturally. Staying in motel. Not camping.

I received word today that I will be located in row J facing building "Y" where Kurk has the vans just a little ways doen on the Grass area just past booth 185 I believe.

getting really exited.

I also want to thank publicly my man Vince Orelli from Orelli automotive paint supply with locations in Shamokin Dam, Williamsport, State College and Bloomsburgh all in PA.

Vince sponsored the camping costs for my being at this event.

That is pretty cool. They are just up the road from us next to Bastian Tire's. Does he have any extra sponsorship to throw around for another local? lol.
When are you showing up Ed?

LMC Truck has a deal where if you have used some of their parts on your truck they might show your truck in their booth. If they pick you they pay your entry fee, you get a $250 gift certificate and other goodies. They will be at Carlisle. Full details here

I think it would be great exposure if we could put a van there.
Here they are at Carlisle some year in the past.
