On the topic of fitting, ho do they go in (and out)?
Dose the window sit in the seal? Is the seal in one part or two (inside & outside)? Is the window/seal unit then just pushed into the aperture and then the rivets applied?
ps if you have trouble with shipping give us a shout and you can get them sent to me and ill then forward them on to you..

I took the van up to Edinburgh at the weekend to see the guy im getting to do the restoration work, so he said he may be able to get the seals manufactured once he gets a cross section of (if so frscke1, would you want a set?)
So options i see it is
1) Get new seals manufactured (Most desired solution) 2) Remove windows and panel them up (dont want to do this, but it is an option) 3) Remove and replace with more common donnar windows (could be a compromise between 1 & 2) 4) re-use seal, cut out the bad sections where plates are and somehow cap that section to look like it is still part of the seal (could be possible, not figured that out yet)

the seals are good but i would be surprised if the are around at least half the plates could be salvageable.
ye i know what you mean, i would expect it to be quite difficult to get the seals manufactured but see what his guys say. thats why im trying to come up with as many alternatives as possible, as soon as we pull the windows im committed to doing something so backup plans in abundance.
