Two weeks ago i bought this chevy conversion van .
This van was garage kept & is in near show room condition .
But my problem is the key alarm system . I have only one sapper to control the alarm procedures . So i want to discontinue the alarm system. The horn part has been tooken out of the system by the original owner, but the flickering lights still come on & when you install the key to start the eng you have to press the unlock button on the sapper to start the van every time .
At that time the lights will turn off & you have to press the brake peddle & the van will start .
SO, how do i go about taking all these alarm system procedures out ? Is there a simple economic way to change this system ?
Also if i can not change the alarm system how do i obtain a extra sapper ?

It depends on your electrical talents and experience with alarm systems but the short answer is no. Alarm systems are designed to be a PITA.
An good alarm shop should be able to give you a quote for removing or disabling the system to get you back to normal or an extra key fob. Check the price and then decide if you wanna tackle it yourself.
