My club member Rebel was considering taking his early Dodge to this show. I see on the flyer it says that later year vans are also welcome. I'm guessing no awards for late models, but you can hang out.
Does anybody know if there are entrance/registration fees?
Will there be food venders?

Are there any registration fees?
Will there be any food venders on site?

Hi Charlie

I'm a vanner and would welcome any vanner to the show.
Yes, you can show your van and on the show field if you register.
Please keep in mind that this is an Early Van Show "FlatNoses"....
and the only trophy that you could contend for is the Best of Show.
If that's all right with you. Entrant fee is $15 day of show...$10 by email or paypal.
Entrants get a goody bag with discount coupons and chances to the door prizes.
The food and drink are available at the ON Site McGinn's Tavern, Venice's Pizzaria and Los Pino's Mexican Restaurant.
Venice's and Los Pinos are giving a 20% discount to all vanners.
Appetizer and drink coupons from McGinns to the first 10 entrants' goody bags.
The up the street campground., if you plan to stay overnite, is giving 20% off to the vanners.

Thanks for following up on this Charlie ! Jim is fairly new to vanning so he could definitely use some help to announce this event. This could turn into the equivalent of the Bakers Early Gathering if all goes well.

Your welcome Doug. I know how tough it is to keep a forty year old vehicle on the road. These guys deserve all the recognition they can get! I'll do my best to help promote this event, and hope for a great turnout.

We are getting a crew together for this show. Myself, Rebel, Chris S, Jim and Munz so far. Wookee is nursing a nats injury, so he's a maybe. You don't need a early van to attend. All Vans Welcome! Come on down and hang out with the NJ vanners. I'm sure we are going to have a great time!

"Just to let you know, rough count is 30 vans so far.
The weather is going to be just fabulous. The heat spell has broken. Only 50% humidity, High of 79 degrees and only a 10% chance of rain for saturday. My only regret is that the event is NOT on the beach. Smile
Maybe a cruise to the beach after the show...would love to see something like that on YOU TUBE. Give a chance for some of the guys to take pics of their truck or van at the beach with a backdrop of the ocean and beach full of bikinis.

I'm just thinking of a spot for all this...Let's hope I come up with one.

Unfortunately it looks like I will have to set this event out.
